Also: set mundu, kerala saree, kasavu saree

The set-mundu is a two-piece Kerala dress of cream or off-white cotton with a gold kasavu border. The lower piece, the mundu, is wrapped round the waist, and the upper piece, the neriyathu, is pleated at one end, tucked into the waist, and brought across the chest over the shoulder. The name set means the two are woven to match. It is the dress of Onam, Vishu and temple visits, and many women wear it as a bridal outfit. A single six-yard Kerala saree in the same cloth is also called a kasavu saree and is more common now.
